Think Outside The Box

Day 20 / 100: Thinking Outside the Box – Brain Teasers #the100dayproject #100daysOfBrainPower As we develop and strengthen our muscles in our bodies by doing physical exercises, we can keep our mind sharp and energetic by doing brain exercises. The number of synapses which provide the communication between billions of brain cells in the human brain is directly proportional to our mental capacity, particularly, our brain power. Brainteasers can help you improve your concentration and logical thinking. As well, many find brainteasers work to relieve stress. Some brainteasers are easy, some are a little harder and some can really make you ponder for a while and others can make you groan as they can be cheesy. 😜 Often, when you finally hear the answer, you feel ignorant or silly because it should have been obvious to you. However, brainteasers are enjoyable! Therefore, we keep testing ourselves and hoping we get better at solving them. Try out the below brain teasers to relax and have some fun. But try not to take a sneak peek on Google to find the answers. Post your answers in the comments. Let’s see how many of you get them right! 1. You are in a cabin and it is pitch black. You have one match on you. Which do you light first, the newspaper, the lamp, the candle, or the fire? 2. When you have me, you immediately feel like sharing me. But, if you do share me, you do not have me. 3. Guess the next three letters in the series GTNTL. 4. I am the beginning of sorrow and the end of sickness. You cannot express happiness without me yet I am in the midst of crosses. I am always in risk yet never in danger. You may find me in the sun, but I am never out of darkness. 5. A man wanted to encrypt his password but he needed to do it in a way so that he could remember it. He had to use seven characters consisting of letters and numbers only (no symbols like ! or <). In order to remember it, he wrote down “You force heaven to be empty.” What is his password? 6. I come in different shapes and sizes. Parts of me are curved, other parts are straight. You can put me anywhere you like, but there is only one right place for me. What am I? 7. What is at the end of a rainbow? 8. What is always coming, but never arrives? 9. What can be broken, but is never held? 10. What is it that lives if it is fed, and dies if you give it a drink? 11. What can one catch that is not thrown? 12. What is it that if you have, you want to share me, and if you share, you do not have? 13. If you had only one match and entered a dark room containing an oil lamp, some kindling wood, and a newspaper, which would you light first? 14. What breaks and never falls, and what falls and never breaks? 15. What is it that goes up, but never comes down? 16. What did one campfire say to the other? 17. Why are movie stars considered cool? 18. What provides the strength and power to walk through walls? 19. Which nail does a carpenter try to miss? 20. What happened to the human cannonball?
